I have a fear of crustaceans too!

And insects.

And arachnids.

Pretty much every arthropod. Its just something about exoskeletons or the way they move or look or…I'm creeping myself out now!

You’re right, Helen – people always think it’s strange that I hate the phone, but don’t have a problem speaking to people face to face, but it’s just so much easier to guage their reactions…

I agree about the phone thing. Much prefer email or face to face, especially when you’re interviewing someone or being interviewed. You can at least see how the person is reacting face to face! I hate it when journo’s are trying to get me out of my comfort zone so I say something silly that I shouldn’t or wouldn’t normally….

Obviously having whined like a child, it’s now working fine. I’d tried to post a comment in the section below a couple of times and both times was timed out before the comment could be added.

HB – what’s the problem with the comments? I know typepad was being a but strange yesterday (when is it not?) but if you let me know what’s been happening I can contact them and ask them to get it sorted out…
