Review | Huggies Soft Skin Wipes with Shea butter

Huggues_wipesNo, you’re not seeing this: that really is a picture of a baby. And no, we’ve not suddenly become a parenting blog overnight, and I don’t have any "news" for you, mum, so don’t go getting your hopes up. What I do have, though, is a pack of Huggies Soft Skin wipes, which look like they’re intended just for babies, but are actually meant for anyone who doesn’t want to spend hours in the bathroom messing around with cleaners and toners, and who’d rather just wash and go. So, what’s the verdict?

Well, like Jen over at Glossing Over It, these weren’t so hot at removing makeup, with mascara proving just too much of a challenge for them. However, with the eye makeup removed courtesy of my trusty Botanics Eye Makeup remover, I actually found these very pleasant to use. They smell lovely, and left my skin feeling pleasantly tingly, and with fluids on planes now a big no-no, I think they’d come in handy on long air journeys when you want to freshen up but don’t have your regular cleaner with you. They’ll work for your hands, too, which is always a bonus.

So, there you go: your face can feel as soft as a baby’s bottom – you’ve just got to use the same products the baby does.
