Dr. Google should really have his license revoked. He always makes me thinks I have things that I really don't.

"Hypo"= below/beneath
"Chondra"= refering to the ribs or ribcage.

Thus "Hypochondria" = Anxiety fueled symptomatology arising from and focused on one's abdomen (i.e., the area of the body below the ribs).

Classic as well as abomidable.

Thanks for the giggle.

Spike's own gravestone actually contains those words (although in Gaelic I believe).

I totally agree with the headache thing by the way. I get really bad ones at the back of my head, which can't be normal. They must be some sort of tumor, right? I'm hoping it's the kind that gives me a super power, like super-memory or something, as apposed to the kind that just makes me dead.

Glad it's not just me then! Every headache I get is surely a potential brain tumour, is it not?

Reminds me of that old Spike Milligan joke about the hypochondriac whose gravestone read "I told you I was ill".
