Chris – sorry, I have no idea what makes cars do that. I think it might just be the cold, but best to ask a mechanic!

Jen – hey, I wonder if we share the same Phantom Faxer? And no, there is nothing more annoying – I'd introduce hefty fines/jail time for anyone who disturbs the sleep of others, and that includes the couple who walked up and down my street screaming at each other at 2am a couple of weeks ago…

My phantom faxer chooses the ungodly hour of 3 am for his calls. And, the number is always blocked or unpublished, so I cannot even send nasty faxes and not so veiled threats back – at 3 am.

Nothing pisses me off more, nothing.

hi there – I got referred to this site from a google search I made re car trouble. Basically my car keeps spluttering out on me at low speeds or when stopped at traffic lights (particularly when it's cold). So far I've always been able to get it going again but not sure what's wrong – I see you've had the same problems with your car, did you ever get to the bottom of the problem?
