So I can't win. Staying in bed sounds like a plan - I would literally hibernate through the winter if I possibly could! As for American coffee, it took me a while to get used to it. I don't know what it is that's different about it, it just IS. I had to move my computer out of my office because it gets so damn cold (oh yes we're feeling the credit crunch over here too) but from a North facing room to a south facing room I seem to be warm, but cant see my screen, so keep the shutters closed. No matter what you do you can't win... I say give up, stay in bed and wait for summer (if only!) I get the sun problem too.
