Review | Armani Code Pour Femme EDP

Armani-code

My regular perfume is running dangerously low, so it's time for a replacement, and this week I've been trying out Armani Code.

Now, I'm fairly fussy about perfume, and when I like one I tend to stick to it for…well, for a long time, let's say. So I was actually quite surprised by how much I like this, and not just because of the pretty purple bottle!

Code contains notes of Blood Orange, Ginger, Pear Sorbet, Sambac Jasmine, Orange Blossom, Seringa Flower, Lavender Honey, Precious Woods Complex and Vanilla. It's sweet, but not sickeningly so, and the jasmine is the most prevalent note for me. There's a bit of a musky undertone to it too, which appeals to me, and this scent is also available for men (Armani Code), so if you like your scent to match your man's, they could make a nice Valentine's gift.

This also passed the Mr Dollface test, so it gets the thumbs up from us both. It's £34 from Beauty Counter Direct.

Normally my attention span for perfumes is goldfish short, but I’ve had this perfume for a while now and it is one of the only ones I have never got sick of. It’s very subtle, and very sexy, I tend to wear it at night.
    I definately recommend it!

I just saw this perfume in the department store last week and I fell in love with. I think I may have to go back and buy it now. It is not overpowering like some other perfumes.
