As far as eyeshadow goes, on the rare occasion I wear it, I tend to stick to what I like to think of as "neutral" and what other people might describe as "boring" colours. When a sample of Fusion of Colors ‘Cash Flow’ dropped through the door of Dollface Towers recently, though, I just had to try it out.
This is a mineral powder shadow, and it’s a beautiful green colour shot through with gold. The gold accents are more apparent on the eyelid than in the pot, and it creates a gorgeous, shimmery look that I like so much I’ve abandoned my usual "neutral" look to wear this every day this week.
With that said, although the colour is green and vibrant, it’s still pretty neutral, in that when my eyes are open it serves mostly to highlight their own colour (my eyes are mostly brown, with green round the iris which this colour really brings out). It’s subtle enough for daytime wear, but you can layer it up for a more dramatic evening look, too. In the picture below, I’m wearing it with GOSH liquid liner in ‘Black Star’ and Imju Fiberwig mascara.
