Review | MeMeMe Fat Cat Lashes Mascara
I'm still on the trail of the best budget mascara in the world ever. Will ANYTHING ever persuade me to give up my high-end mascaras? I doubt it, but today MeMeMe have given it their best shot with their Fat Cat Lashes mascara, which retails for £7.99 – a price that kick Lancome et al squarely in the pants.
It gets points straight out of the gate for the funky packaging and, of course, the name. It's called 'Fat Cat', and it has a nice fat brush, too. With this wand, you're supposed to be able to create a "false lash effect". I didn't find that to be quite the case, but it is one of the better budget brands: it's easy to use, goes on smoothly, and does add length to the lash – just not as much as some of the more expensive mascaras I've tried.
With that said, this is a great mascara for the money: it doesn't flake, doesn't run, and has a nice, thickening effect.
If you'd like to try it for yourself, it's available at Superdrug.
