Missing: one mojo
20 Oct
So, as the more observant of you may have noticed, my blogging mojo isn’t so much MIA at the moment as it is verging on complete extinction. I don’t know: I’m just not really feeling it right now. Twitter, Facebook, blogging – meh. Maybe tomorrow. Maybe the next day. I’ve started a new post here about ten times in the last week, and then just stared at it for a few minutes before shrugging my shoulders and shutting it down again. Like I said: meh.
Anyway, with my mojo well and truly gone, there’s really only one thing to do: post random photos and call them “a blog post”. Look! Here I am sitting in a pile of leaves, looking a bit blurry, but at least with my hair totally matching my surroundings. Which is important. I mean, I like to be co-ordinated:

What you can gather from this is that yes, I was clearly lying when I had that little hissy fit about how there are no leaves to kick up in Scotland in the Autumn . Because there are leaves. And you can kick them up. You just can’t do it where I live, because those leaves are all wet and mulchy. We had to go to Traquair House, in the Borders, to get a good kick at leaves. It was worth it, though. Look, here I am on a swing:

And here I am sitting on a wall, shortly before entering a maze, which we’d probably still be in if it wasn’t for the fact that Terry has a map inside his head at all times. His superhero name would be “Map Man”.

Other than sitting on this wall, being lost in a maze and kicking up leaves, though, I’m honestly not exaggerating when I say I’ve barely left the house. Well, actually, I AM exaggerating when I say that: I’ve walked the dog, gone to the gym and visited family members. I’ve also been to the library, where everyone was listening to music through TINNY SPEAKERS and a little boy slammed a door in my face twice. It’s a rock n’ roll lifestyle, all right, and what this basically means is that there’s nothing to see here, move along please.
If anyone happens to see my mojo (possibly with my green dress?), be sure to send it along….

I absolutely love your outfit! Your coat is soooooooo cute
