Carried Away

Thanks to the wonders of scheduled posts, by the time you read this, I’ll be… um, I was going to say I’d be en route to the US, but actually, I’ll probably be at Gatwick airport, raiding the duty free lounge. And THEN I’ll be en route to the US.
Anyway, I will probably be too lazy to post anything while I’m gone (Although I’m not promising: if I have a bit of time, I may or may not choose to bombard you with the usual 387,976 photos, so don’t say I didn’t warn you…) so I just wanted to pop in today to say goodbye, farewell, and please don’t abandon me while I’m gone!

(P.S. I don’t use Twitter much these days, but I will no doubt Instagram the hell out of this trip, as usual: I’m @Shoeperwoman there, or you can see the photos as they pop up in the sidebar here!)
EDITED TO ADD: For some reason the wonders of scheduled posts weren’t so wonderful after all, and this didn’t get posted when it was supposed to, so suffice to say we’re no longer at Gatwick airport, and did, in fact, make it safely to Florida!
