Remember that top secret, can’t-tell-you-or-I’d-have-to-kill-you project I made vague, annoying allusions to earlier this year? Well, today I can finally tell you that for the past few weeks I’ve been working (undercover, naturally. Picture me in a trenchcoat and fedora at this point, if you don’t mind. Also a pair of Christian Louboutin’s ‘So Kate’ pumps…) with eBay, as part of their new eBay Influencer Network. Which basically means that you’re all going to have to start being influenced by me now. Sorry about that.
OK, I jest: you don’t HAVE to be influenced by me, but should you want to be, eBay have made it easy on you, because as an eBay Influencer, I’ve been tirelessly trawling the auction site, hunting down all of the best fashion-y things to be found there. I’ve created 13 different collections (with more coming soon), all filled with items I love from eBay UK. So it’s a case of “I do the eBay shopping, so you don’t have to,” basically. I know that sounds fun – and it WAS – but it took me forever, mostly because I kept trying to buy the things I found for my collections, and then I had to start again. I really wish I was joking about this.
As you might predict, the collections all have a Forever Amber theme to them (Because it would’ve been weird if I’d themed them around some other blogger, no?), so you’ll find green dresses, big skirts and, well, a whole lot of things with polka dots on them. You can also shop my closet, although I should stress here that it’s not my ACTUAL closet – i.e. you’re not buying MY clothes, just duplicates of items I own, which I’ve managed to track down on eBay.
If you want to keep track of the items I’m adding, you can follow my profile here (you’ll need an eBay account). As I said, I’ll be creating some more collections soon, so if anyone has any special requests for the type of things you’d like to see collected together, and hand-picked by yours truly, feel free to drop me a comment!
